Your questions, answered.
What is Riqoch, exactly?
A Mac and Windows app that runs your code and publishes it as a review link. Your reviewers open the real app, click around, and leave their feedback right on the elements it’s about.
How is it different from a screenshot or a mockup?
A screenshot shows a moment, a mockup an intention. Riqoch shows the app as it’s built, with its real states and interactions. Every comment is pinned to an element, not to a spot on an image.
Do I need to deploy my app to get it reviewed?
No. Riqoch runs your app from a folder on your computer or a GitHub repository, then publishes a review link, without touching your hosting or your deployment pipeline.
Which projects can Riqoch open?
Static sites, Vite projects (React, Vue, Svelte…), Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, SvelteKit, Remix, Angular and most JavaScript projects, monorepos included. On the server side: Django, Flask, Streamlit, Rails and PHP. Riqoch figures out how to launch the project and installs the dependencies.
Do my reviewers need to install anything?
No. They open the link in their browser, on a computer or a phone, and comment without creating an account. Only the people who publish need the app.
Does Riqoch work with our tools?
Yes. Connect GitHub to create a file from a repository and a branch, and Slack to send each comment thread to a channel: replies written in Slack come back into the review.
Which systems does Riqoch run on?
Mac, on Apple Silicon and Intel, and Windows 10 and 11. The app updates itself. Cloud files can also be opened and published from the web app.
Try it on your own project.
Install the app, open a project, send the link. Your reviewers don’t need a thing.
